The final day of RAGBRAI began in Manchester with a deadline to meet our LIVESTRONG team by 11am near mile 42 in Dubuque.

We managed to find time to stop at the original Field of Dreams where Kip hit a line drive down the first base line and we snapped a few pics.

We cleared the infamous Potters Hill and powered on to meet up with our team for the two by two ride into the dip site at the bank of the Mississippi river at the port of Dubuque. They put the survivors at the head of the team so I was near the front if the train. Im sure this was an impressive sight, ill find a pic of this and post it here when I do.

I also included a photo of my arm where you can see what happens when u sweat underneath a dead layer of skin from sunburn.

Day 5 is finally over – 85 miles later

Today was a long day and I’m pretty exhausted so I’m just going to post the pics that didn’t post yesterday and the pics from today.

Story of note: a man went down early this morning with a broken arm & jaw and was airlifted from the course by helo. Hats off to team Air Force for stabilizing the victim before EMS arrived.
